Alpha Networks is the winner of the “Pay TV service Innovation of the Year” at the 2021 Video Tech Innovation Awards, the ultimate celebration for companies and individuals that are revolutionising today’s global video industry.
Winning the Pay TV Service of the Year award with the real-time Accurate EPG solution by Alpha Networks and partner MediadataTV is an important recognition of the services provided to operators, including Vodafone Spain.
Pay TV operators are upping their game to meet the challenges of the video everywhere age. This award recognises a particularly ground-breaking offering, marketing initiative or service-enabling technology that has met with a positive market response in the last year.
The solution has been defined by the Jury of the VIAs as:
“An Innovation focusing on one key and enduring challenge that the pay TV industry currently faces, delivered a better experience for customers by providing a great improvement in the user experience for catch-up TV services”.
