LAUNCHING FIRST SHARP START OVER SERVICE IN FRANCE
Bouygues Telecom is a French mobile phone, ISP and IPTV company, part of Bouygues group. The goal of this project was to support Bouygues Telecom in the launch of it Start-over new feature, currently available on 55 channels, delivering world-class TV and exciting user experience.

- This functionality is made possible thanks to Accurate EPG, the latest module available in Alpha Networks’ Tucano software, which analyses TV streams in order to detect real Program Start and End times and replace the one provided by the EPG providers.
- Accurate EPG module has been developed in order to guarantee an accuracy of 90% of timers’ corrections by mixing machine learning algorithms and manual treatments to manage negative flows.
